Nestled amidst the rolling hills of Gloucestershire lies this quaint Cotswolds gem. Dating back to the 1800s, while the traditional interiors are dated, the home's wood-burning stove and stone mullion windows are undeniably charming. If we were being fussy, the front garden adjoining the neighbouring cottage isn't the most private of spaces, but it's still a lovely spot for morning coffees and evening barbecues. Set in the tiny village of Brockhampton, there's little within walking distance. But there are cosy village pubs just a short drive away, and Cheltenham Spa and Winchcombe are within easy reach, too.

Home truths

Due to this home's rural location, we recommend hiring a car to get the most out of your stay, and there is private parking for one car.

A cot, high chair, and stair gates can be provided on request.

The stairs to the first floor are quite steep and winding.

Logs are provided for an initial fire from 1st October to the 31st March.

If you’re travelling with a larger group, the adjacent sister cottage is also available for hire. Contact your host directly for more information.

Along with the shared front garden, which is divided by a parterre, there’s a small courtyard to the rear, where bikes can be stored.

Winchcombe (five miles) is your nearest place to pick up essentials, and there's a 24-hour garage even closer.
