But with views of the villages of Cabris and Spéracède from the villa, we can see why you might want to spend as much time as possible in your own little bubble. The private swimming pool, ping pong table, and large covered terrace allow for hours of sociable entertainment in the sun. Meanwhile, the well-sized bedrooms offer space for privacy from the rest of the group too.

• Well-behaved pets may be allowed on request, but you'll need to pay £30 per pet, plus a £175 security deposit – please speak to your host before booking if you'd like to bring your pet along.

• While your host can likely provide one cot and one high chair for free, extra equipment may be available for an additional fee of £30 per cot and £15 per high chair – you may have to bring your own cot linen.
