Set in between Harrods and Sloane Square, it's hard to imagine a home with a more glamorous location than this one. This prime Knightsbridge spot is the ideal base for luxury shopping trips or visiting London's world-famous museums – the V&A is just a twelve-minute stroll away. This is an especially large home spread over five floors, where you can enjoy getting lost in the grand, walk-in closet or sinking into the wood-paneled bath. Large groups or families who like lots of space will feel at home here, and there are some nice art deco touches in the main living space. There's also a home gym, where you can work up a sweat, but if it's all about entertaining for you then the elegant formal dining area, with its quilted chairs and dramatic skylight, will not disappoint.

Home truths
The sixth bedroom is a very small room with no window
The master, second and fourth bedrooms are on the street side, so we would expect to hear some traffic noise from the road in these rooms
As the home is spread over five levels, there are a lot of stairs to climb
Since the photoshoot, the TV has been removed from the gym – there is now only a TV in the first floor living room and the master bedroom
This property is fitted with a noise detection device – your host politely asks guests to keep the noise down to respect other neighbours in the building

About Knightsbridge
Opulence is the name of the game in Knightsbridge. This is London at its most grand and lavish: an area where many of your neighbours think nothing of picking up their daily groceries at Harrods and taking their dogs for a walk in Hyde Park before breakfast. Ideally located for exploring many of central London's key sights, Knightsbridge is also a mecca for high-end shopoholics. Thrifty types should look elsewhere!
