Bright and inviting, Light of Lights is a homey and stylish apartment in the quiet neighbourhood of Lapa. Personal arty touches such as brightly painted chairs and tiles add pizazz and character, although you’ll probably want to spend most of your time on the two beautiful balconies – they really make this home stand out. As the name suggests, there's no shortage of natural light here, with huge windows and doors to the balconies from the living room, bedroom and even the kitchen. The neighbourhood is local, friendly and not overly touristy, but close to top attractions such as the Basilica and Tapada das Necessidades, and best of all it has excellent access to the city's famous tram service.
