Relax in the spacious, fully enclosed garden and take in the pretty rural views. Or listen to the babbling stream at the bottom of the garden (it’s completely fenced off, so you don’t need to worry about the little ones or four-legged friends). Inside, there’s a log burner for the colder months, and plenty of character features such as beams.

Home truths
As with most cottages, the ceilings are low, especially in the second-floor bedroom, where there are sloping ceilings, so this place may not suit very tall guests.
There is a step up from the dining area into the kitchen.
One bathroom has a 3/4 size bath and overhead shower.
The super-king-sized bed can be configured as twin beds on request.
There's no barbecue here and there is a stream at the bottom of the garden, but it's fenced off.
A complimentary voucher for an artisan farm shop is provided and there's an initial supply of coffee pods for the coffee machine.
Your host can provide a cot, stair gate and high chair for free. You'll need to request them in advance.
There is free, unrestricted parking outside the cottage.
