Do you have a question about this home or the local area?
This pretty holiday home sits in the centre of Westmeston, a village at the foot of the South Downs. It’s a great spot for walkers as the footpath directly outside leads straight to the Downs, and there are plenty of other local walks to enjoy. Beach-lovers need only drive thirty minutes to reach the south coast. The house itself retains much of its Victorian charm, having been lovingly restored. We love the garden and the cosy wood burner for chillier evenings.

About East Sussex

Woolf and her Bloomsbury group of intellects often escaped to the unspoilt beauty of Sussex (Charleston) in pursuit of creative inspiration, with Woolf herself residing in Monk’s House until her husband's death.
