Even though it’s actually quite new, Vintage Rosa feels like it could be from the 50s (can you tell from the name?). In a good way, that is – it has a great balance of the old-fashioned aesthetic and modern fittings, so you won’t be stuck with sixty-year-old kitchen appliances. The whole building is run in the space between a hotel and a block of flats, as there’s more than enough to keep you independent, but you also get some extra services included, like cleaning every other day, and a reception during working hours.

About Vatican

It's not always clear when places become popular tourist destinations. However, with the Vatican City, we know the exact date – 67AD when the apostle St Peter was martyred at the foot of the Vatican Hill and buried nearby.
