Experience the beauty of the Llyn Peninsula from a beautiful working farm, where you'll find three utterly charming stone cottages overlooking the rolling farmland. With a short drive between you and Porth Neigwl, Porth Ysgo, Traeth Porthor and Traeth Penllech, this home is ideal for beach lovers. Though the style might feel a little dated in parts, we love the space this offers large groups across the three cottages – each with a living area and kitchen. Each unit also has a private patio, but there's plenty of communal space where everyone can come together. The garden also makes for a great escape for taller guests feeling a little contained by the low bedroom ceilings.

Home truths

We suggest hiring a car for ease – there's ample parking here.

Bedrooms are split between three cottages, each with its own living area, kitchen, and outdoor patio. There's a ground-floor bedroom and bathroom here.

The traditional decor here might not be to everyone's taste. It feels a little dated in parts.

If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a stair gate, cot and high chair for free. You'll need to request them in advance and bring your own linen for the cot.

A welcome pack of homemade cakes, coffee, tea and hot chocolate, milk and sugar will get you started here. If you need to stock up on anything else during your stay, there's a shop a thirteen-minute drive away.

The southern coast is ideal for families, with sandy beaches and sweet seaside towns full of indy retailers, cosy cafes and welcoming beer gardens. It’s perfect...
