If you’re seeking a home that offers both urban and rural living, this first-floor apartment within walking distance of Peterston-Super-Ely may just be for you. Sitting 7 miles from Cardiff yet surrounded by tranquil countryside scenery, you’ve got the best of both worlds here. While the decor inside is a little underwhelming, the large windows let the green views do the talking and you’ll have access to a communal patio and barbecue area that’s shared with the downstairs apartment. You can also take advantage of the impressive 240-acre farmland with its small lake for ample walking opportunities and wildlife spotting, while children will love feeding the ducks, visiting the sheep and playing on the expansive lawn areas.

There’s a modern waterfront ‘down the bay’, where you can watch opera or ballet at the gleaming Wales Millenium Centre, tour the eco-friendly Senedd (Welsh Parliament) building or take a thrilling rib ride.
