Do you have a question about this home or the local area?
Made up of two bedroom pods and a larger area with dormitory-style beds on wheels, Musical Chairs is one of those spaces that can be adapted into anything you want it to be. Even the kitchen counter is on wheels, making for a playful experience with lots of bespoke and innovative details. If you’re concerned about privacy, this isn’t the place for you – all the rooms are only semi-private with simple wooden structures for walls and little acoustical screening. On top of staying in a quirky home, you’re also in Kreuzberg, one of Berlin’s coolest neighbourhoods.

There’s currently no home manual to explain all of the quirky features in this home
If privacy is a concern, this is not the choice for you – the sleeping ‘pods’ don’t offer a great deal of privacy
There’s no acoustical screening off between all of the spaces
If you are a light sleeper, this home isn’t for you – it’s impossible to completely block out all of the sunlight in the pods

Historically, Kreuzberg was one of the poorest parts of West Berlin, but today it’s transformed into a cultural mecca populated by people from all over...
