Built in 1780, this Grade II listed folly makes for a quirky and charm-filled base in Shropshire. From an elevated position on a rock knoll, it boasts glorious views across the countryside. It also sits within 1.75 acres of enclosed gardens and looks out over a lake. It’s a fairytale-worthy setting, perfect for romantic breaks – but it can also accommodate friends or small families with older children. You can look forward to a rather grand drawing room, as well as the original quarry tiles in the cosy kitchen. When the season is right, you can even pick your own fruit from the trees – however you spend your stay, it’s sure to be memorable.

Children over the age of ten are welcome here, but younger children and babies cannot be accommodated.

There are two ground-floor bedrooms and a shower room here. These bedrooms can accommodate double beds but are better suited to single occupancy as they’re on the smaller side.
