Housed in a beautiful azulejo-clad building dating back to 1830, this luxurious boutique studio apartment is the ideal base for those looking to explore the city in style. Every inch of this home has been carefully curated with design and relaxation in mind, from the luxurious bedding to the calm neutral palette and the dazzling white marble bathroom. We love the sunny breakfast table that invites you to feast on coffee and fresh pastéis de nata from a local bakery while planning your day’s events. Alternatively, enjoy breakfast in the downstairs restaurant or treat yourself to room service. If you’re looking to take your relaxation up a notch, book a massage to help you get into the holiday mood, or instead, let your adventurous side out with a segway tour, boat excursion or helicopter ride – your host is happy to arrange all of these. Evenings call for sundowners in the shared garden and nightcaps in the on-site bar before retreating to your chic studio for a blissful night’s sleep. When you’re not taking advantage of your home’s superb amenities, go out and explore the city. You’re just a fifteen-minute walk from the Alfama and its historic São Jorge Castle,... a fourteen-minute stroll from the Santa Justa lift, while all around your hip Intendente neighbourhood you’ll find quirky bars, cool restaurants, and vintage markets to explore.

About Intendente
The Mayor of Lisbon moved his office into Intendente in 2012, giving it the infusion of funds needed to rebuild and elevate this often forgotten part of town. Only a decade ago, Intendente was in bad shape, but the revitalising initiatives have created an unexpected consequence – an incredible culinary scene, where everything goes. There are still some rough edges, but most of the previously abandoned buildings now home indie record stores, craft fairs, and art galleries. We suggest you start your trip in Largo Café, the artsy meeting point for locals and visitors.
