Fine Art is essentially a studio, but the space is so well-utilised that the small size becomes its superpower. It’s definitely not for everyone (the mezzanine ceiling is very low), but art-interested souls looking for a charming South Kensington location will love this home. A curious mix of Oriental adornments, Moroccan patterns, and antique sculptures that come together to create an intriguing style, it’s the kind of place that’s great for relaxing while also keeping you entertained.

Home truths
The kitchen isn’t as well-equipped as we would have liked – it could do with some more pots and pans
This home doesn’t get a lot of natural light as there’s only one window
Watch your head on the low ceiling – the mezzanine is only 180cm high
When we visited, the wifi was slow
As there are a lot of apartments in this building, you may be able to hear the neighbours from time to time
The bedroom is on a mezzanine floor – it’s a great use of space, but it’s not the most private
The stairs up to the bedroom are alternate tread stairs – which means they are very narrow and you can only place one foot on the stair level at a time, so they are probably not suitable for those with mobility issues or poor eyesight
