This is a truly unique and characterful home that we are so pleased to have in the collection. While it’s a small space, it’s incredibly cosy, with a rustic look, mood lighting and a wood-burning stove. Everything in the home has its own story and personality – the rescued brickwork, reclaimed floor boards from a restaurant in Borough, salvaged wooden beams, stone from Gloucestershire for the mantelpiece and even hand-painted tiles from a trip to Morocco. Another highlight of the home is the garden, which is ideal for hosting a memorable dinner party with friends.

Home truths
This home has more of a charming feel rather than being super luxurious
As it's a ground floor home, it doesn't get heaps of light inside
While this is not a central location, it's close to East London hotspots, but it's not very close to a tube station
The house has fairly small spaces inside, but the garden is a good size and ideal for entertaining friends and organising BBQs and meals al fresco
There's no microwave or toaster in the kitchen, but there's a double oven with a grill so you still have an option for reheating and toasting

About Haggerston
Haggerston is Shoreditch's Northern neighbour. It's a laidback area where you'll be rubbing shoulders with some of London's hippest young creatives and artists, without the tourists that have now well and truly arrived in Shoreditch. Broadway Market is within walking distance and Regent's Canal is another major draw - our favourite spot down by the water is The Towpath Cafe, a great place to chill out with a coffee and start writing that novel.

Admire the Rooftop views from Netil360
There's one thing you should know about this pared-down London Fields rooftop bar with panoramic views - there’s quite a bit of a walk (nine flights of stairs to be precise) but it's well worth it.

Host
This home is managed by James
This home is managed directly by its owner who will be your point of contact before and during your stay. Originally from Gloucestershire, James spends time between his home there and this charming East London home. He's a keen traveller and loves exploring new places (most recently trekking in Nepal). He loves being able to share his home with likeminded guests and has a few tips for holding dinner parties, including filling up the butler sink outside with plenty of ice and a few bottles of Prosecco!
