Do you have a question about this home or the local area?
Unpretentious and reassuring, Shoreline is comfortable, and the kind of place where things work without any fuss. It’s on the lower ground floor, so views are out of the question, but while it’s not overly bright, it’s not really any different to any number of the old flats in narrow streets closer to the centre of the city. However, as it’s in Monteverde, the streets are wide and lined with trees, the traffic much calmer, and the tourists far away.

Home truths
The flat's on the lower ground floor, so it doesn't get much natural light, and there's no lift to get down to it
The second bedroom is more of a study with a single sofa bed in it – we marked it as a bedroom to show it wasn't in the living room, but it's worth being aware of
There's another sofa bed in the living room that two people can sleep on
Eugenia would only like to rent this flat out for periods of two weeks or longer

About Monteverde Vecchio
To the southwest of bohemian Trastevere lies Monteverde Vecchio, a largely residential quarter that swaps the crowds for wide, peaceful streets and hills. Whilst it is a bit too far to walk to the city’s main attractions, there are trams that run to Piazza Venezia so it’s fairly easy to get to the centre, at least during the day. Life is definitely slower here than elsewhere in Rome, but that’s...

Host
This home is managed by Massimo
This home is managed directly by its owner who will be your point of contact before and during your stay. Eugenia was born in Rome and is a psychotherapist. Over her career, she’s focussed on different schools of psychotherapy, but these days she’s concentrating on family mediation. She’s really interesting, and we very excited to have her as a Plum host.
