Located in Madrid’s swish Salamanca neighbourhood, this comfortable apartment offers a central stay in one of the city’s most privileged postcodes, alongside putting you in a prime position to explore the area’s countless cultural hotspots. Inside, vibrant pops of colour in the modern furnishings create a cheerful welcome in the open-plan living space, where a plump sofa beckons laid-back lounging and a dining table invites sociable soirées. The three bedrooms, meanwhile, are pared-back spaces carefully curated with an eye for design – from the jungle print wallpaper in one to the Art Deco feature wall in another. Local guide
About Salamanca
Salamanca is Madrid’s most glamorous and prestigious quarter. Usually associated with aristocratic façades, wide avenues, and luxurious living (atypical for Madrid’s cosy centre), the neighbourhood attracts domestic and international elite. It’s also home to many embassies and private schools, as well as niche museums and designer boutiques along its ‘Golden Mile’. The demanding clientele has made the food scene equally exclusive, but while you’re likely to find quite a few Michelin-star restaurants in the area, there are lots of relaxed tapas bars for those less willing to splash the cash.
