The Art Director is swanky in every way. A 1920s villa, it’s one of those homes that seems to have come straight out of an interior design magazine. Brimming with bright, natural light, it packs marble floors in the bathrooms, a regal staircase, and a mix of modern and classic design furniture. A family home with a capital F, it invites you to spend time with your loved ones – whether that’s in the garden, the home gym, the table tennis room, or the eye-catching dining room. Charlottenlund isn’t quite central Copenhagen (it’s more suburban), but it’s well-connected to the city centre by way of the S-train.

Local guide
About Charlottenlund
Bordered by Hellerup to the south and the Øresund strait to the east, Charlottenlund is in the northernmost part of Copenhagen’s urban area. As it’s one of the most affluent neighbourhoods in the city, it’s way more suburban than it is metropolitan, with a high concentration of swanky, historic villas and leafy streets. Despite being on the outskirts of Copenhagen, it’s actually well-connected in terms of public transport – the...

Host
This home is managed by Pernille
This home is managed directly by its owner who will be your point of contact before and during your stay. We fell in love with Pernille and Emil as soon as we met them. Creative, inspiring and friendly, they’re the kind of hosts that you’ll never forget. Together, they have two children – both teenagers. In their spare time, they love gardening, travelling and perusing boutiques to find something unique for their home.
