Ask the host anything
Do you have a question about this home or the local area?
Located inside one of the Hermann Henselmann Towers on Strausberger Platz, The Little Drummer has a rich history. As it overlooks Karl-Marx-All – the former GDR boulevard designed for parades and lined with mirrored wedding-cake style architecture on both sides – this home feels exceptionally grand. It’s lacking in entertainment options (there’s no TV), but with Alexanderplatz ten minutes away, we’re sure you’ll find other things to do.

Home truths
The host only rents out this home for longer periods of time – which is why a rental agreement needs to be signed and a deposit needs to be paid directly to the host
It sleeps four guests, but two of them would be on a sofa bed in the living room
We couldn’t find a home manual – you may have to ask for help on how to use the appliances
Karl Marx Allee is definitely on the busier side – it can get noisy
There aren’t really any entertainment options in this home – no TV, no books, no magazines
The wifi was a bit slow we when we visited
