Do you have a question about this home or the local area?
Rome is so full of winding alleyways and small squares that a place like Regina Viarum really stands out. It’s completely different to the stereotype – a large flat in a standalone villa, with a huge garden. Obviously, this sort of space doesn’t come along in the city centre, and Regina Viarum is slightly removed from the thick of things, but it comes with space for two cars in the driveway and great public transport links. Besides, if getting into the centre is a fundamental priority, we wouldn’t recommend this place. The whole point is the peaceful, bucolic setting.

About Cinecittà
La Dolce Vita, Ben-Hur, and Wes Anderson’s The Life Aquatic are just some of the films that have been made at Cinecittà, the most famous film studio in Europe. It occupies a vast lot in the southeast of the city and dominates the surrounding area. While there isn’t a lot to do in the vicinity, the studio is a draw in itself, and if you’re lucky enough to be working there, staying nearby is both convenient and good value.
