It’s also a great base from which to explore the most stunning spots of the region – the Baroque cities of Syracuse and Noto are a short drive away, while the beaches of Avola and Fontane Bianche are also within easy reach. You will need a car here, but your host can help organise car rentals along with a range of excursions. And while the rooms are basic, we think most of your time will be spent outside, admiring the views from the jacuzzi.
