With easy access to Scicli, Modica, and the sea, this villa is ideally located for exploring southern Sicily. Day trips around the island are a given, but there's a lot to like back home, too. For starters, the private pool and olive tree-dotted garden are lovely spots to relax in the sun – although the exterior looks a little tired and could do with a refresh. Charming features inside, like timber ceilings, are given a contemporary twist, including sleek en-suite bathrooms with walk-in rainfall showers. Two of the bedrooms have external access, perfect for guests wanting extra privacy. We also like the covered terrace, where alfresco meals will undoubtedly be on the itinerary.
