Near the border of Tuscany and Umbria, this place puts Perugia, Lake Trasimeno and Arezzo within day-tripping distance while the surroundings of lush hills and oak forests are pure peace and quiet. One of four apartments within a traditional-style villa, it’s decked out like the old world inside with a huge old stone hearth in the living room, a library and study for those working remotely and an old-fashioned kitchen. Stone steps lead to the private patio with gorgeous views over the Tiber Valley. Plus, guests here have access to the estate’s shared swimming pool and sprawling gardens.
