It's a stunning architect-designed flat in the oh-so-trendy Clerkenwell area. This characterful masterpiece is full of quirk, with a fantastic collection of books, music, figurines, antiques and original pieces. Light and airy, the conservatory has been stylishly furnished with sofas, wooden chairs and large bean bags to sink into as the sun streams through the ceiling. It's made even better by the projector screen, transforming the whole space into your own private cinema. Outside, you'll find a small garden area that's ideal for morning meditations or coffee in the fresh air. Back inside, this oasis of calm benefits from the sociable open-plan layout, extensive art pieces and artwork, plus sleek limestone flooring (complete with underfloor heating), that makes for a fresh and breathable space to chill out. But beyond this family-suited home, there's a local area full of theatres, cinemas and museums. There is also a historical walk from your doorstep, through Clerkenwell and past St. Paul's Cathedral to the River Thames and the Tate Modern. Come evening, vibrant King's Cross is the spot for hip bars and fine-dining restaurants, whether you're after a romantic meal for two or a crowd-pleaser for the entire party. Just note that the owner's... friendly cat, Dusty, will be around during your stay.
