Do you have a question about this home or the local area?

Surrounded by lush greenery, this Provençal farmhouse will delight sun worshippers and wine lovers alike. The outdoor pool is the real centrepiece, but the garden boasts plenty of other spots for kicking back with a glass of rosé, including a shaded patio with an outdoor kitchen for a spot of alfresco cooking. The interior isn’t quite as striking with some rooms feeling a little dated. But the space has, nonetheless, retained plenty of traditional charm with its exposed stone walls and beamed ceilings, making it a nice backdrop for cosy evenings in. And location-wise, you’re just a short drive from some of Provence’s most beautiful villages, so you won’t have to venture far to get a taste of local culture – and viticulture.

Home truths

The stairs here are a little steep, so this may not be the best option for those with limited mobility.

The traditional decor here might not be to everyone's taste. The bedrooms in particular feel slightly dated.

There's a dedicated desk space in one of the bedrooms should you need to catch up on work. Alternatively, the dining table can also double up as a remote workspace if needed.

Due to this home's remote location, you might find that the phone signal is patchy from time to time.

This home is in the heart of the countryside, so a car is essential for getting around. Ménerbes is the nearest village.

It’s little wonder why Cezanne, Van Gogh, and Chagall all felt the pull to immortalise the region in art. But beyond its mouthwatering food and drink, sensory romance, and small-town serenity, it’s the region’s manifold...
