Built in 1875, this Victorian property lies only minutes away from vibrant Brixton. A short walk will get you to the Stockwell Underground Station, where all of London is at your disposal. The house still has some original features, like the statement fireplace, but the more contemporary kitchen and dining space is what draws the eye here. It spills out into a manicured garden with an alfresco dining space, raised deck, and lawn that the kids will enjoy running around on. Though parts of this home feel a little dated – particularly the traditional living area and bathroom – it comfortably hosts a family of eight.

The en-suite shower isn't photographed. Expect the quality to be consistent with the other bathroom, which looks a little tired. The traditional living room and fuss-free bedrooms may also not be to everyone's taste.
The fourth bedroom doubles as a study, with a Murphy bed that can be tucked away for space.
You may hear some noise from neighbours during your stay.
Parking in London can be tricky, so we recommend exploring via public transport. Stockwell station is a short walk away.
Your host provides a starter supply of toiletries, but you may want to bring your own. The nearest supermarket for stocking up is a five-minute walk away.
Hen and stag parties aren't allowed here.
You’ll be required to sign a digital rental agreement from the host prior to your stay for security and insurance purposes. Your host will send this to you after your booking is confirmed

Stockwell is known for having the largest Portuguese community outside of Portugal, with an estimated 27,000 Portuguese people living in what has become affectionately known as ‘Little Portugal’ -...
