Boasting a privileged location on Madrid’s famous Gran Vía, this elegant apartment puts countless of the city’s most famous sights on your doorstep. It’s not just its incredibly central locale that caught our eye, however. Plasterwork ceilings, marble detailing and a whopping eleven Juliet balconies make this pad stand out from the crowd. Beautifully dressed bedrooms with bespoke wallpaper add to the luxe feeling here too. And did we mention the en-suite’s Turkish-style sauna shower? Of course, being in the beating heart of the capital means noise is to be expected. But we think it’s a small price to pay for a home as striking as this one.

Home truths
This host does not accept bookings from groups of young people.
This apartment sits on one of Madrid's busiest streets, so expect street noise throughout your stay. Light sleepers may wish to pack earplugs.
The second bedroom's bed is made up of two twin mattresses pushed together. While we love the overall design of this bedroom, it lacks natural light.
If you're travelling for work, you won't find a dedicated desk here. However, the dining table doubles up as a laptop-friendly workspace.
We recommend skipping the car here and exploring Madrid on foot or by public transport instead.
