Located on Rambla Catalunya – Barcelona’s main shopping street – this apartment puts you in a prime position to explore the city’s many central bars, restaurants and boutiques. Given its spot in the heart of the action, you may need to contend with some street noise throughout your stay. But there’s plenty to appreciate inside, not least of all the pad’s private terrace – perfect for sunny breakfasts and evening glasses of wine. The decor isn’t the most inspiring here but a sizeable kitchen will be appreciated by chefs of the group. And the home’s locale close to Casa Batlló, Casa Milà and Plaça de Catalunya makes sightseeing a cinch.

Home truths
Given the home's central spot, expect to hear some street noise throughout your stay.
If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot for free. You'll need to request it in advance.
If you're travelling for work, you won't find a dedicated desk here. However, the dining table doubles up as a laptop-friendly workspace.
The decor is a little generic here. Those looking for a more luxurious or characterful stay may wish to look elsewhere.
We recommend skipping the car here and exploring Barcelona on foot or by public transport instead. There are Metro and bus stations within a five-minute walk.
