Do you have a question about this home or the local area?

A perfect mix of elegance and warmth, this classic-contemporary apartment offers comfortable living in the heart of Venice’s Dorsoduro district. We loved the dark wood floors, oak ceiling beams, rich red accents and wrought iron details. There’s a spacious living area for regrouping before dinner plans and a cosy mezzanine level for enjoying quiet moments with a good book. If you’re a fan of cooking, the fully-equipped kitchen has everything you need for putting together Italian-inspired dishes but when you fancy hanging up your chef’s apron, head over to Al Profeta, a lovely pizzeria, only a ten-minute walk from your doorstep. The famous Piazza San Marco is an eight-minute water bus ride away. Get your culture fix at the Basilica and Museo Correr before drifting along the Grand Canal on a gondola. Stop for an aperitivo in one of Venice’s glitzy rooftop bars or go for a more informal setting at Osteria All’Arco, a local favourite next to the Rialto Bridge.

About Dorsoduro

Located just south of Rialto, Dorsoduro is a large and culturally rich quarter. The majority of Ca' Foscari (the main university in the city) is in this area, so the people here skew young and trendy. It’s one of Venice’s best spots for nightlife, with crowds gathering in squares deep into the summer evenings. There are also pockets of calm though, like the canalside paths which offer panoramic views over...
