If you’re looking for a unique stay in the heart of Whitstable, this cosy shepherd’s hut is just the ticket. It’s a compact space that’s best suited to two guests, but two children can share the trundle day bed in the living area if you’re wishing to travel as a family. Due to the size of the home, the kitchenette is appropriately petite, but you’ll find plenty of restaurants nearby. And though this home is located to the back of the owner’s garden, you’ll have a private entrance and your own outdoor space – ideal for morning coffees in the sun before heading out for a day at the nearby beach.

Home truths
At capacity, two guests will be sleeping on the day bed and its pull-out trundle bed in the living area. We think this communal sleeping area is best suited to children. For maximum comfort, however, we recommend an overall guest count of two in this home.
This is a compact shepherd's hut and there isn't much in the way of a kitchen. You'll only have a toaster, microwave, kettle and fridge. Those looking to be able to prepare meals at home may wish to look elsewhere.
This home is short on wardrobe space, so we'd recommend packing light.
The shepherd's hut is at the back of the owner's garden but has a separate entrance and is fenced off from the rest of the garden for privacy.
Free designated parking is available on-site.

About Whitstable
This seaside town suddenly came into fashion about twenty years ago and hasn’t looked back. Away from the high street, the real attraction is the long pebbly beach – known for its views across the estuary...
