Do you have a question about this home or the local area?

Let’s start by saying something obvious from the outset – this Copenhagen penthouse is one of the most impressive apartments we’ve ever seen! Louise's eye for design, detail and hosting is extraordinary – she can even arrange for a private chef if that’s something you’re in the mood for. The home's interior is pure Scandinavian chic, with plenty of natural materials, sculptural light fittings and elegant furniture throughout. Through to the bedrooms and the neutral decor and blackout curtains making switching off at the end of the day an effortless experience. And if you thought that was the end of it, wait until you see the huge rooftop terrace – at over 2,500 sqft, it has to be one of the largest in the city. Its sheer size combined with views of the water, old Copenhagen, and the many modern buildings in Islands Brygge ensure that we can’t think of anywhere we’d rather be. And while it's true you won't be staying right in the heart of the city, we'd suggest hiring a bike so you can do as Copenhageners do. Truly extraordinary and one-of-a-kind, this home needs to be experienced at least once in your life.

About Islands Brygge

Taking up a sizable portion of the southern edge of the Copenhagen harbour, Islands Brygge (colloquially known as Bryggen) is suited for those who crave a bit of peace and quiet – and a healthy dose of sea breeze. In the past couple of decades, this part of the city has gone from a scruffy, neglected area with a bad reputation to a stylish, mostly residential neighbourhood loved by families...

Host

This home is managed by Louise

This home is managed directly by a business. A member of their staff will be your point of contact before and during your stay. We fell in love with Louise as soon as we met her. Creative, driven, and passionate with a head full of exciting ideas, she’s designed the whole home by herself. She lives a couple of blocks away with her two teenage boys, so don’t forget to ask her for her recommendations on what to do in the area.
