This historic villa has been renovated to provide modern comforts while retaining its traditional Apulian rural style. A large outdoor area is home to a private pool, fitness area and outdoor sauna for a spa-like stay. Al fresco dining comes courtesy of the outdoor kitchen with its wood-burning oven and barbecue. The hodge-podge of barrel-vaulted rooms contains naturally cool bedrooms and several lounges for the group to spread out inside. While furnishings are decidedly traditional, it feels classy rather than dated. Plus, there’s a study for those working remotely. This place lies within easy reach of famous destinations such as Alberobello (a ten-minute drive) and Ostuni (a forty-five-minute drive).

The swimming pool is only available for use between 1st April and 15th November.
Mid-week cleaning is included with a stay here. During high season this takes place on a Saturday.
There is room for four additional guests across two sofa beds in the communal areas.
You could walk into the centre of Putignano, but having a car is still recommended. There is private parking within the grounds.
