The closest town is Martina Franca, seven kilometres away, and the beautiful hilltop town of Ostuni is within day-tripping distance. A private pool is a tonic to the hot, southern sun and there’s oodles of outdoor space for alfresco dining, reclining and unwinding in the shade. Thick, stone walls keep things naturally cool inside and, while the kitchen is fairly compact, it has everything you need for self-catering. Besides, you’ll want to spend most meals cooking at the wood-burning oven in the outdoor kitchen anyway.
