Tucked away in the Umbrian countryside and surrounded by over 1000 olive trees, the setting of this cottage is postcard-perfect. The traditional interiors might not be everyone's cup of tea, and the rooms are pocket-sized. But we can forgive that for the home's private swimming pool and shared spa facilities within the wider communal grounds. With little else within walking distance, you'll need a car when it's time to explore the nearby towns of Assisi and Spoleto. Or, for something lower key, Pantalla village (a 2.3km drive) should do nicely.

Home truths
There is covered parking outside the home.
While the second bathroom isn’t photographed, we expect the style and quality to be consistent with the home.
The cottage has a private pool and garden, but you’ll share the wider grounds and spa facilities.
The swimming pool is open seasonally (May to September). It’s also worth noting that it isn't fenced. If you're bringing little ones, they'll need to be supervised at all times.
The traditional decor here might not be to everyone's taste. It feels a little dated in parts.
The kitchen is compact and better suited to prepping lighter bites. For larger meals, there's an outdoor kitchenette with a barbecue and a wood-burning oven.
