Next to Palazzo Grassi, this house couldn't be better placed for sightseeing. The iconic Ponte dell'Accademia is five minutes on foot, Piazza San Marco is about a fifteen-minute stroll, and the Grand Canal is practically on your doorstep. Location aside, what really caught our eye here is the leafy garden. We can't think of a sweeter spot to unwind after your adventures, a glass of Prosecco in hand. Inside, the split-level layout offers plenty of space. The first-floor main bedroom is designed like a loft and is flooded with natural light. Just note that four guests will sleep on sofa beds here – fine for short stays, but it may not suit everyone.

Home truths
Four people will sleep on sofa beds here. One is in the first-floor main bedroom, which has an open-plan layout. The other is in the ground-floor drawing room. If you'd like ample privacy, we suggest a maximum guest count of four.
The kitchen is quite compact. We think it's best to prepare lighter bites.
