A thoroughly charming Victorian rectory-style lodge, this place exudes character and quality. From the cosy and sophisticated TV room, to the classic kitchen and fabulous orangery-style dining room, it's the perfect setting for an idyllic family or friends retreat in the countryside. The bedrooms are heavenly; all with their own distinct style. We love the giant antique four-poster with a TV cleverly built into the canopy. Stepping outside, there's hot tub with far-reaching views across the rolling hills. Later you can enjoy a few games of tennis, and sit outdoors with after-dinner drinks until it gets dark. It's about twenty minutes' drive into Shrewsbury, or head in the opposite direction and you'll cross the border into Wales in no time. Perhaps a day trip to Snowdonia for some epic hiking?

Host
This home is managed by Oliver
This home is managed directly by a business. A member of their staff will be your point of contact before and during your stay. Nearly twenty years ago, Oliver and his friend began curating the world's most unique and rustic getaways. Driven by their own unforgettable experience at a chateau, they have grown remarkably since then. Much like Plum, they believe in hand-picked luxury that doesn't break the bank.
This home is nominated for the Plum Guide Award.
