Imagine lying by the pool breathing in the bewitching aroma of fresh lavender, listening to the sea rush to shore. Perhaps you’ll have a cold glass of Sicilian lemonade next to you, and you’ll be looking forward to a night of stargazing from the rooftop terrace. Holidays don’t get better than at this idyllic home in Sicily. The villa can be found just 100 metres from the seashore in South East Sicily. The pretty fishing village of Marzamemi is just a five-minute drive away, and the beautiful Vendicari Nature Reserve is seven minutes away. This is an ideal base from which to enjoy and explore all that this part of Sicily has to offer. Eat breakfast on the covered terrace, enjoying the view of the gardens and pool, and beyond to the sea. We’d follow this with a dip in the beautiful pool, or by wandering down to the beach. Our favourite beach, San Lorenzo, is a nineteen-minute walk, or you can nip there in two minutes in the car. Spend the afternoon in Marzamemi, where you can stroll along the cobbled streets and treat yourself to some fresh seafood for lunch – there’s no shortage of picture-perfect eateries along the... attractive harbour. You have a tough decision to make in the evening – do you watch the sunset from the roof terrace or from the hot tub in the pool? Wherever you choose to enjoy it, make sure you do so with a glass of local wine. Absolute bliss.

Host
This home is managed by Oliver
This home is managed directly by a business. A member of their staff will be your point of contact before and during your stay. Nearly twenty years ago, Oliver and his friend began curating the world's most unique and rustic getaways. Driven by their own unforgettable experience at a chateau, they have grown remarkably since then. Much like Plum, they believe in hand-picked luxury that doesn't break the bank.
