Craving a rural getaway that promises plenty of peace, relaxation and time spent in the great outdoors? Well, this cosy homestead surrounded by 15 acres of private parkland is just the ticket. With its sprawling green grounds and lush garden, it feels like something straight out of a landscape painting, and that easy-going country feeling continues inside. You'll immediately feel at home, thanks to the welcome hamper filled with fresh milk, a loaf of bread and jam from the local bakery. After a cup of tea on the terrace – you won't be able to get enough of those views – settle into your home-from-home. French doors create a bright and warm atmosphere in the open living area, while the wooden floors and lovely exposed beams only add to the home's rustic charm. Spend your days strolling along the grounds, admiring the Dedham Vale scenery, or visiting the quintessential Suffolk villages nearby – we recommend a trip to nearby Hall Farm, an award-winning farm shop and quaint cafe. In the evenings, enjoy sunset barbecues in the garden or unwind on the sumptuous sofas with a glass of wine.

This home is spread out on one level (with the exception of a few steps up to the kitchen), so it’s a great fit for those with limited mobility
The garden is gorgeous, but it’s all open and not completely private – friendly staff managing the estate will pop-up from time to time
Small updates may be underway – the bathrooms, kitchen sink and exterior windows are undergoing planned renovations
The oven is in need of a service
You'll need a car in this area – the home has on-site parking on a gravel drive for multiple cars, so no need to carpool
