Entirely rebuilt so that every room's focus is on the lovely country views – this charming house offers a comfortable stay for large groups looking for a touch of isolation and tranquillity. It's a house and annexe perched on the edge of a gentle and wild valley filled with birdsong, ancient trees and rambling fields. The peaceful surroundings can be felt inside, with a warmth that creates a homely and welcoming ambience from the get-go. The elegant furniture, crackling fireplace and floral curtains keep things cosy and bucolic. Knock up a hearty brunch in the country-style kitchen – to be enjoyed on the blissful patio area, complete with an alfresco dining table and wooden veranda. Right in the heart of the New Forest, you can walk for miles and miles starting from your front door. We recommend heading down through the valley and up onto Hampton Ridge with views into Dorset and over to the southern part of the National Park. Your local pub – The Foresters Arms – is not only excellent but also just a short walk down the lane. Further afield, beachgoers will find the Avon Beach, boasting beautiful white sands, less than a thirty-minute drive from... these scenic digs. Once a smugglers paradise and now calm and serene, it’s only the wild ponies who galavant about here.
