Do you have a question about this home or the local area?

Located just ten minutes' walk from the centre of York, this address is comprised of two townhouses on a quiet residential street. Given that they're neighbouring properties, it will probably come as no surprise to learn that the layouts of both homes are pretty similar and they have been styled in a complementary fashion too, with wooden floors, traditional furnishings and walls painted in muted colours. There are plenty of welcome extras to discover, too. South-facing terraces with seating can be found outside the back door of each home. If it's a rainy afternoon, there's a basement in one of the houses that has a home cinema set-up, a foosball table and a large selection of board games. Upstairs, the Japanese-style soaking tub provides an altogether more relaxing option. Although York's historic attractions in the centre of the city are easily reachable on foot, there are plenty more distractions even closer by. Bishopthorpe Road — affectionately known to locals as Bishy Road — awaits at the end of the street and is packed with great restaurants, cafes, bars and pubs. If you're looking to get acquainted with a number of them, the host can lend guests a House of York Craft Savvy...
