Do you have a question about this home or the local area?
In a rural stretch of land where the rivers Vyrnwy and Banwy cross paths, find an idyllic countryside escape just a four-minute drive from the village of Meifod. This working farmhouse is perfect for families looking for a unique experience in an authentic, rustic abode. In the rolling fields, where you can hear cattle pottering around their large pens, step inside to this cosy home. Your spacious lounge has original timber beams and a brick fireplace with a wood-burning stove at its centre, naturally. While you take a moment to relax on the plush leather sofa with a cup of tea, let the kids explore the farm and find the games room (complete with foosball, pool, and darts), the garden and barbecue, and of course your animal neighbours. The kunekune pigs will be more than happy to make new friends, plus you can educate the whole family thanks to the farmer’s kind offering of daily viewings to learn how cows are milked. And for marine life, step out to the aforementioned rivers to enjoy a day of fishing – it’s quite satisfying to catch dinner at your doorstep.
