Do you have a question about this home or the local area?

Dating back to the 1800s, this imposing building was once a co-operative union mill. Now, the red brick facade is home to this beautiful two-bedroom apartment. The home is right in the heart of Whitby – a charming coastal town with gothic history and architecture. The North York Moors National Park is also a ten-minute drive from the home, where you can hike through the unspoilt countryside and encounter unique wildlife. Back at the apartment, relax in the light-filled living room with calm grey tones and soft furnishings to keep things cosy. We especially love the nautical motifs and curated flowers dotted around too. There's an airy and breathable feel to the home with the French windows that lead to your private outdoor patio and welcome in plenty of natural sea air. In the warmer months, have your morning coffee outside, or dinner and drinks starring the local produce you picked up during the day. Take a ten-minute walk to sandy Whitby beach, lined by independent shops, seafood restaurants, and traditional pubs that have made this little corner of England the national treasure it is today.

About Whitby

Famously the setting of Bram Stoker’s Dracula, there’s something hauntingly beautiful about Whitby. The ruins of Whitby Abbey, set atop a windy hill overlooking the town, are just like a scene from a gothic novel. When the sun sets, ghost tours amble through the cobbled streets, revealing the town’s dramatic history. By day it’s all idyllic fishing village vibes, with a hint of Victorian holidays.
