This loft apartment is well situated for a getaway that combines both days at the seaside and rural excursions — Penllech Beach takes under a quarter of an hour to reach by car, while there are plenty of coastal walks to embark upon. The home itself is situated on a working beef, sheep and cereal farm, although banish any thoughts of draughty barns and rudimentary amenities — the interior embodies rustic cosiness at its finest. Underneath wooden ceiling beams, it's easy to get snug on the Chesterfield sofa positioned close to the log-burning fireplace. The kitchen benefits from underfloor heating too, so there's no worry of feeling the chill during colder months. When the weather's more pleasant, guests have access to a private terrace with alfresco seating, as well as a large garden shared between two neighbouring cottages which includes goalposts, a climbing frame, a trampoline and a barbecue area. If you don't fancy cooking, there are two pubs in the village of Sarn Mellteyrn, just seven minutes' walk up the road.
