Send the blues packing with a stay at this picturesque home at the tip of Bamburgh village. With pops of nautical blues and white wooden beams, this home perfectly fits its coastal location while maintaining the feel of a countryside cottage. The mix of modern and traditional features create a quintessential setting for any activity whether it be cosying up in the barbecue hut for an outdoor feast or inside for a formal dinner, enjoying a game of pool or sneaking away to read a good book on the sunny conservatory. The four lofty bedrooms feature plush carpet and sloped ceilings and there’s a warming log burner in the lounge for the dogs to doze off in front of. The garden is surrounded by leafy foliage, and although that might trick you into thinking that you’re miles inland, you’re actually only a few hundred yards from the sea. Go for a stroll along Budle Bay and you’ll find stretches of sandy beach and mudflats for a quiet morning of birdwatching. The impressive Bamburgh Castle is less than a five-minute drive away and is also home to a golf course with mighty impressive views overlooking the coast.
