Perfect as a base for walkers or cyclists, you'll find Bedgebury Pinetum and Bewl Water Reservoir close by, and the area has several National Trust properties to visit, including Sissinghurst Castle Garden, and more than fifty vineyards and breweries that are open to visitors.
