Set in the heart of historic Canterbury, this Georgian terraced cottage is perfect for exploring the abundance of sights in this corner of Southeast England. History buffs and culture lovers will love the proximity to a plethora of important attractions including Canterbury Cathedral, St Augustine’s Abbey, and England’s largest surviving medieval gateway, Westgate Towers. While the cottage’s smart dining room is lovely for sharing home–cooked meals, there are plenty of restaurants, bars, and pubs just a short stroll away – we love a good pub grub dish. For adventures further afield, the seaside town of Whitstable is only a 20–minute drive away and the freshly shucked oysters here can’t be beaten. After an exciting day out, the leafy garden is perfect for a glass of red before a relaxing soak in the big white tub – paradise. For a different perspective, jump aboard one of the punts that lead guided tours along the River Stour or hire bikes and cycle to Chatham along the Great Stour Way.

The city centre is compact and beautiful – with cobbled streets lined with architectural treasures, fabulous shopping and an eclectic mix of eateries, ancient pubs and student bars. Nearly one...
