Located in the east wing of a former gentleman's residence, this Grade II-listed apartment makes the most of its jaw-dropping cliff-top location. The historic building is bursting with original features – a Victorian skylight floods the kitchen and living space with sunshine, while an intricately carved wooden bed invites you to dream in style. The balcony in the main bedroom has panoramic views of the sea, as does the private pebbled patio – ideal for alfresco dining as you drink in the scenery. Just a five-minute walk from Lynton, you'll have plenty here to keep you busy. Hop on the nearby Cliff Railway funicular and visit its twin village of Lynmouth, where you can enjoy a local ale in one of its inns, watch boats bobbing in the harbour or indulge in a Devon cream tea. The South West Coastal Path is right on your doorstep, so remember to pack your hiking boots for long walks atop the cliffs. There are also tranquil river walks close by at Watersmeet, or you can saddle up and head inland for some pony trekking at Exmoor National Park.
