Found in the rolling hills of a 47-acre farm close to Parracombe Village, this renovated country cottage is the perfect excuse to switch off your phone and get back to nature. From birdwatching in the home's long garden to spotting the roaming ponies on the moors, this house is surrounded by wildlife and beautiful flora, and not just in its surroundings - the farm is also home to wildlife such as red deer, owls and otters. Inside, the open-plan kitchen, dining and living room provide a social setting for big dinners or playing board games by the log-burner, while on warmer nights the picnic benches outside are great for a glass of wine. The communal games room is packed with entertainment including table tennis, a pool table, and plenty of games for younger kids. A short drive from the home, the seaside towns of Lynton and Lynmouth and the old cliff railway make for an interesting day trip while the beaches of North Devon are just a little further along the coastline. Best bring a pair of walking boots - this area is famous for its trails including The South West Coast Path and Exmoor National Park.
