Sample a taste of life on the ocean waves without ever leaving dry land. If this stunning home was any closer to the sea, it would be in it – as it is, the windows grant a view of the beach that’s guaranteed to make your heart skip a beat. Luxuriate on the hillside patio as the sun sets, bathing the whole home in that distinctive warm, Cornish light. Each of the four bedrooms have been impeccably decorated with a premium touch, but we think you’ll all be fighting over the master. This room’s enormous circular window, directly overlooking the water, is the crowning jewel of the home and means you can appreciate the far-reaching view without even getting out of bed. You can reach Porthowan's sandy shores in less than ten minutes on foot, stopping to pick up some fish and chips en route. Further along the Cornish coastline, there are plenty of hidden coves and cliffside villages to explore – just hop in the car and go where the wind (or sea) takes you.
