Found on the ground floor of a converted Cornish cottage, we liked how this home contrasts traditional aspects, like exposed stonework and the imposing front door, with more modern additions, such as the neon artwork and the funky light fittings. The wood burner in the inglenook fireplace will be a joy to gather around in the evening times and the grey underground bathroom is a particularly inviting place for a bit of me-time. With this much thought and effort gone into the interior, it therefore feels a shame that you're sure to be spending so much time outside. Not only on the private patio with its barbecue and alfresco seating area, but also at one of the four beaches nearby — the closest being St Agnes, only eighteen minutes' walk away. Closer to home, there are a handful of restaurants, pubs and shops in the village of St Agnes to amble between.
