This cheery apartment is so close to the beach you’ll be able to smell the fresh sea air from your window. Wake up to a light and airy space decorated in soft shades of yellow and blue that perfectly reflect the seaside location, and enjoy breakfast in the open living area with a sneaky side view of the sea before heading out to explore the charming streets of pretty Southwold. Built for two but with space for a travel cot too, it's a comfortable retreat that's been put together with a great deal of thought. Small but perfectly formed, we think it's the perfect base in this neck of the woods. Set in a covetable location just two minutes from the sea and the town’s iconic pier, you can enjoy the sights and sounds of the vibrant promenade that’s basically steps from your front door. Walk over to the picturesque lighthouse and take a tour through the historic building or stroll along the pier, visit the eccentric seaside shops and stop for a bite at one of the fine seafood restaurants or famous fish and chip shops.
